Applied Nutrition has expanded its Slush Puppie collaboration again, bringing Slush Puppie Twisted Citrus to the ABE Energy + Performance can range. The citrus flavour first appeared in ABE pre-workout powder and is now moving into a ready-to-drink 330ml can.
The launch gives ABE fans another way to try the Slush Puppie range alongside the existing Slush Puppie Red & Blue Mix can and the Slush Puppie flavours available in the full-size ABE pre-workout tubs.

What is the new ABE Slush Puppie Twisted Citrus can?
Slush Puppie Twisted Citrus is the latest flavour to join Applied Nutrition's ABE Energy + Performance drink range. It takes the Twisted Citrus flavour already found in the ABE pre-workout powder and puts it into ABE's carbonated, ready-to-drink format.
According to Applied Nutrition, each 330ml ABE Performance can provides 200mg caffeine, 2g citrulline, 2g beta-alanine and 200mg taurine, with zero sugar. That makes Twisted Citrus a new flavour rather than a completely different ABE formula.
Twisted Citrus started as an ABE pre-workout tub
The canned launch isn't the first appearance of the flavour. Slush Puppie Twisted Citrus previously joined Applied Nutrition's ABE All Black Everything pre-workout powder range, giving people the option of the citrus-inspired Slush Puppie flavour in the traditional mix-at-home format.

ABE can or ABE pre-workout tub: what's the difference?
The main difference is format and convenience. The ABE can is ready to drink, carbonated and needs no shaker or mixing. The ABE All Black Everything powder is the traditional pre-workout format, mixed with water before training, and its formula is not identical to the canned drink.
The full-size ABE powder lists 200mg caffeine and 2g beta-alanine per serving alongside ingredients including creatine and citrulline malate. The ABE can also contains 200mg caffeine and 2g beta-alanine, but Applied Nutrition lists 2g citrulline and 200mg taurine in the ready-to-drink formula. Always check the individual product label rather than assuming the can and tub are nutritionally interchangeable.
