Per4m has expanded beyond its usual protein, pre-workout and performance ranges with a new Multi-Blend Collagen line, officially launched on 17 July 2026.
The range takes a slightly different approach to many single-source collagen powders by combining marine and bovine collagen in the same serving, with three fruit flavours plus an unflavoured option.
What's in Per4m Multi-Blend Collagen?
Every daily serving provides 10g of hydrolysed collagen, split evenly between 5g marine collagen and 5g bovine collagen. Vitamin C is included alongside the collagen blend.
The marine source primarily provides Type I collagen, while bovine collagen commonly provides Types I and III. Per4m has disclosed the 5g/5g split rather than presenting the two sources as one combined proprietary total.

The full-size range launched in four options:

The three fruit flavours are designed to be mixed with cold water for a lighter drink, while Unflavoured is the more flexible option for adding to drinks or food.

Is collagen the same as protein powder?
No. This is an important distinction because collagen is a protein, but it isn't interchangeable with a standard whey, egg or properly formulated plant protein powder.
Whey, egg and suitable plant blends provide a more complete essential amino acid profile for contributing to your overall protein intake. Collagen has a different amino acid profile, so we'd treat Per4m Multi-Blend Collagen as a separate product rather than a replacement for your normal protein powder.
Why add marine and bovine collagen together?
The practical difference is source and collagen type. Marine collagen is derived from fish and is primarily associated with Type I collagen. Bovine collagen comes from cattle and commonly provides Types I and III.

Who should check the label carefully?
The marine collagen is derived from fish, so the product isn't suitable for anyone with a fish allergy. Because both marine and bovine collagen are animal-derived, it also isn't suitable for vegetarian or vegan diets.
