Per4m gives you a ridiculous amount of choice, which is great until you're actually trying to pick one flavour.
So rather than pretending there's one flavour everyone will love, we've used what our customers actually choose as a starting point. It doesn't make the top seller objectively the best; it just gives you somewhere sensible to begin.
What 39,000+ flavour choices tell us
We analysed 39,174 Per4m Advanced Whey sample flavour selections from Muscle Supply orders during the 180 days ending 26 September 2026. Those selections came from 5,806 orders containing Per4m Advanced Whey samples and covered 39 flavours.
The five most frequently selected flavours were:
- Sticky Toffee Pudding — 2,276 order appearances
- Cookie Dough — 1,716
- French Toast Maple Swirl — 1,619
- Carrot Cake — 1,576
- Caramel Biscuit — 1,530
Together, those five accounted for just over 22% of all flavour selections in the dataset. It's a useful snapshot of what customers are choosing to try, although it isn't a taste test and doesn't mean the most frequently selected flavour is objectively the best.
Sticky Toffee Pudding is the one customers keep choosing
Sticky Toffee Pudding leads this six-month sample dataset, and it's an easy recommendation if you already like rich, dessert-style shakes.
White Chocolate Hazelnut also remains popular, while Per4m's bakery and dessert-inspired flavours feature heavily among customer choices.
Choose by what you normally like
Dessert and bakery flavours: Sticky Toffee Pudding, Carrot Cake, Cookie Dough and Chocolate Brownie Batter are the obvious place to look.
Chocolate: White Chocolate Hazelnut, Chocolate Brownie Batter and the other chocolate-led flavours suit you better if that's what you'd normally order.
Something simpler: Vanilla Creme is worth considering if you don't want every shake to taste like pudding.
Something different: Per4m regularly adds more unusual limited and seasonal flavours, so the current 900g flavour line-up is the best place to see what is available.
Don't overlook the samples
This is probably the most useful advice in the whole guide: if you're torn between flavours, try the sachets first.
The Per4m Advanced Whey samples let you try individual flavours without ending up with a full tub of something you don't enjoy. They're also handy if you prefer rotating flavours instead of having the same shake every day.
What we'd pick for a first order
If you already know you like dessert-style proteins, Sticky Toffee Pudding is a sensible starting point based on what our customers have chosen in this dataset. White Chocolate Hazelnut is another one we'd put on the shortlist.
If neither sounds like your thing, ignore the rankings and choose by your own taste. That's more useful than buying something simply because everyone else did.
How we analysed the data
This analysis uses Muscle Supply order data for the 180 days ending 26 September 2026. We counted each Per4m Advanced Whey sample flavour appearing in an order as a flavour selection. An order containing several different flavours therefore contributes several selections.
Availability changes over time, limited-edition flavours haven't all been available for the same period, and Muscle Supply customers aren't a representative sample of every protein buyer in the UK. The figures are best read as a large snapshot of purchasing behaviour on our store, not a national taste survey.

Popularity references are based on Muscle Supply's own order data and are intended as a useful guide, not an objective taste score.
