Two fruit-led flavours have joined the Barebells Soft Protein Bar range: Strawberry Sundae and Raspberry Gelato.
Both are 55g soft protein bars with 16g of protein and no added sugar. They are sold as individual bars rather than full boxes, which makes it easier to try a new flavour without committing to a multipack. Availability can vary by flavour.

What is new?
Barebells is best known for making protein bars that feel closer to a chocolate bar than a traditional dense protein snack. These two additions take the Soft Bar range in a more fruity direction, pairing berry flavours with a white chocolate coating.
They share the same 55g format and protein content, but the flavour profiles are quite different. Strawberry Sundae sounds like the sweeter, creamier option. Raspberry Gelato leans towards a fresher berry flavour with a little more contrast.
Barebells Strawberry Sundae Soft Protein Bar
Strawberry Sundae combines strawberry and vanilla-flavoured dough with strawberry sauce, real strawberry pieces and a white chocolate coating.
It is the more dessert-like of the pair. The strawberry and vanilla combination should appeal if you usually choose flavours such as strawberries and cream, white chocolate or cheesecake rather than caramel-heavy bars.
The real strawberry pieces and sauce also give it more going on than a simple strawberry-flavoured centre. If you want the safest starting point of the two and generally prefer sweeter flavours, Strawberry Sundae is likely to be the one to try first.
Barebells Raspberry Gelato Soft Protein Bar
Raspberry Gelato uses a creamy soft centre with real raspberry pieces, a fruity drizzle and a white chocolate coating. Barebells introduced this one as a limited-edition flavour, so it may not be a permanent part of the range.
Raspberry usually brings a slightly sharper flavour than strawberry, which should help balance the sweetness of the white chocolate coating. That makes Raspberry Gelato the more interesting choice if very sweet protein bars are not usually your thing.
Despite the gelato name, it is still a shelf-stable protein bar. The name describes the flavour rather than the way it needs to be stored or served.
Which flavour should you choose?
Choose Strawberry Sundae if you like creamy, familiar dessert flavours and want the sweeter option. Choose Raspberry Gelato if you prefer fruit flavours with a little more sharpness against the white chocolate.
